Rain in August

 This morning Sister H and Sister L

were up early and off to a missionary meeting.
It was a hot day (100 degrees) 

After the meeting they changed out of their missionary clothes

and did went to do some service.

Just as they arrived back home, it started raining.

 They came in the front door and said,

"We want to jump on the trampoline in the rain!"

They quickly ran outside for a 5-minute burst of jumping. 

The rain was coming down at a healthy rate.
The rain felt good because they were hot.
I don't know why the raindrops don't show in the picture
but they needed a towel to dry off.  

They were invigorated by that short-but-sweet jump.

 

The sisters ate a quick dinner here at home

(their dinner appointment had fallen through)...

They changed back into their nice missionary attire....
and they were off to their evening teaching appointments.
They were home by 9:30 p.m.
It was a good day.
